For the third installment of Retro Tuesday, we have opted to play Chrono Trigger. I have always had a soft spot for JRPG games and this title is known to be widely loved by game enthusiasts; even some who hesitate to confess their love for the Japanese-style turned based treats that define a generation of gamers.
As the youngest in a family of people who enjoyed video games, I didn’t have a lot of opportunity to indulge in games the way many have. Being able to share the unique experience of playing a classic for the first time with little knowledge of the story or game mechanics is the hallmark of the Retro Tuesday experience.
